Office Assistant @ Lifeline Ventures

We are now looking for an Office Assistant to Lifeline Ventures. In this role your main priority is to ensure that daily life runs smoothly at the office. You will join a dynamic team consisting of 11 professionals and you will work mainly on-site at the office in Punavuori, Helsinki. This is a permanent and full-time position, with an option to work part-time (e.g. 80% working hours), if preferred by the chosen candidate.
Lifeline Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm founded by serial entrepreneurs. Lifeline Ventures invests in early-stage startups, and supports them with funding, talent, and everything it takes to build category-leading companies. In this role your workdays will involve varied tasks with the aim to ensure that the office environment is a pleasant and welcoming place for everyone. You will be part of the Finance & Admin team and report to the CFO, while also supporting other team members. Key responsibilities in this role include:
🔸 taking care of the morning routines at the office
🔸 making sure the office is well stocked with supplies, snacks and other essentials
🔸 welcoming guests and ensuring they are greeted warmly and directed to the right place
🔸 communicating with cleaning and maintenance providers when needed
🔸 planning and coordinating office-related projects
🔸 organizing events, handling catering orders and providing support during events
🔸 supporting in onboarding by ensuring new employees receive the necessary equipment and access credentials
🔸 assisting also in administrative tasks as you grow into the role

🔹 have customer service experience from an office environment – prior work experience in an assistant or reception role from a similar work environment (e.g. a growth company or a private equity / venture capital fund) is seen as a plus

🔹 navigate social situations with ease and enjoy helping others
🔹 have excellent communication skills in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
