Negota Finland offers interim in-house lawyers for both part- and full-time assignments to its client-base consisting of corporate clients with a temporary need for legal expertise. Negota Finland's lawyers work as outsourced in-house legal team members and handle a wide array of corporate legal matters, such as contracts, public procurement, compliance questions, employment matters as well as data protection and privacy.

As Negota Finland’s Legal Counsel, you will support the firm’s clients as an outsourced in-house legal team member. Negota Finland serves a wide array of clients from various industries, giving you the opportunity to see a variety of legal environments. Negota Finland’s services are most often used by clients who have a temporary need for legal expertise e.g. due to a leave of absence or because they have a project they want to outsource. This means that even though you are a consultant, you work directly with the clients you support – often at their premises and in their technological environment. Most typically, Negota Finland supports their clients in contractual matters, public procurement, compliance questions, employment matters as well as data protection and privacy topics.

Negota Finland’s team currently consists of one experienced legal consultant, and a Managing Director with legal background is being recruited. As a member of a small team, you also get to participate in business development, e.g. client acquisition or legal service development.

If you tick these boxes, your could be the lawyer we are looking for:

✅ You have a master’s degree in law and at least a few years of post-graduate expertise covering contracts, privacy, corporate law and/or compliance – it is an asset if you have worked as an in-house lawyer or have been seconded to an in-house legal department.

✅ You communicate fluently in Finnish and English – due to the Nordic roots of Negota, fluency in Swedish is a big plus but not an absolute requirement.

✅ You are a pragmatic and versatile lawyer who is not afraid of tackling new areas of law and business – you can expect to gain exposure to a wide array of fields of business.
