As Holiday Club’s Head of Legal you will be responsible for Holiday Club’s group legal affairs. You will ensure that the legal function aligns with and supports the company’s strategic goals, identify opportunities for improvement in processes and operations and implement necessary adjustments.

The role and daily tasks are strongly linked to Holiday Club’s operational legal support needs, and you will support the business units in contract negotiations, with a particular emphasis on commercial contracts and real estate projects. You will also provide ongoing legal advice and oversee and develop the overall compliance framework. In addition to the above, you will act as a secretary to the Board of Directors and be responsible for contract management.

You will work closely with the CEO, CFO, and business management as well as the Indian parent company. You will report to the CEO and act as a supervisor to one legal counsel. Holiday Club’s HQ is located at Konepajankuja 5 C, and while you have the flexibility to work within the company’s hybrid policy, your colleagues are always glad to see you at the office!

This position is a perfect fit for a lawyer who has:

✅ a Finnish legal degree and ideally from 5 to 8 years of relevant post-graduate working experience preferably from a business law firm or an in-house legal department;

✅ a generalist legal background with exposure to commercial contracts, real estate projects and company law;

✅ an ability to rapidly assimilate new information and come up with pragmatic and business oriented legal solutions;

✅ hands-on and proactive approach to work; and

✅ strong communication skills – fluency in both written and oral English and Finnish is required.
