👉 We are now looking for a Compliance Officer to join Paf’s Legal & Compliance function of 6 experienced legal and compliance professionals, located in the Nordics. In this role you get to provide expert compliance and legal advice on Paf’s different markets, as well as risk assessments. You will be based in Helsinki, Epicenter, together with other Paf employees, but you also have the opportunity to work remotely in accordance with the company’s hybrid working policy. You will report to the General Counsel of Paf. The position is full-time and permanent, starting as soon as possible.

🎯 In this position, you will collaborate to ensure that Paf complies with all applicable regulatory requirements across its markets. You will stay up to date with the latest regulatory changes and updates and consolidate them into clear internal guidance. One of your main responsibilities will be to cooperate for ensuring that Paf meets applicable regulatory requirements, with special focus on the upcoming Finnish regulation. You will communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, authorities and legislators. You will have a responsible and independent role; however, you are part of a supporting and experienced team with a clear purpose to actively enable the business to grow within a sound compliance framework.
You may be the person we’re looking for if:
🎓 you have a master’s degree in law and approximately 5 years of relevant experience, e.g. within compliance, risk or regulatory matters – previous experience within the gaming industry is considered as a plus. We would love to hear from you even if you are not a lawyer, but you have previous relevant compliance experience within the gaming industry;
🌟 you have great interpersonal skills, and you bring positive energy to the team;
🧢 you are self-driven and have a strong can-do attitude – you take ownership of your work and get things done;
đź’Ą you are curious, and you are not afraid of taking on new areas of law, sometimes across foreign jurisdictions; and
🍋 you have great communication skills and excellent working proficiency in both Finnish and English – Swedish is considered as a plus.
